Hi this is me.

This blog used to be dedicated to Oracle, but is now about a lot of stuff and the good things in life. This is in synch with the path in my career. Started as a journalist I later switched to working at a large logistics provider. An important step in my career was the switch to IT. Acting as a senior user for the implementation of a large logistics system I decided it was an area that I would like to be part of. Working at several systems houses I watched Oracle develop to the big IT company it is nowadays and in the early years I was part of this world as an Oracle product specialist. Later on my career developed more into IT management roles, like teamleader, head of Systems development and recently Enterprise Achitect and Project Manager. I founded my own company Peter Florijn Consultancy B.V.
